How to play: Hardcell

Hardcell is a variant of the popular solitaire game Freecell. It essentially combines Freecell with the element of other popular games such as Klondike, namely that cards are face down until revealed during the game.

Layout and gameplay

The layout and gameplay are essentially as for Freecell. However, all cards begin face down except for the last (bottom) card of each column.

As the game is played, whenever a face down card is left at the bottom of a column, it is turned face up, revealing it and making it available for play.

Strategy

As you would expect, the strategy for playing Hardcell is essentially a combination of the strategy for playing Freecell combined with the strategy for playing Klondike.
